About us at Pitforthie Equestrian
We are a small, family run, livery yard with a 40m x 30m outdoor school with lighting and a full set of jumps.
We provide full, assisted and DIY livery. Breaking, schooling and selling livery are also available.
The yard is managed by Kirsty Alexander who has an HND in Equestrian Studies and has passed BHS Stage 3 Riding and Stage 2 Care. She previously worked at Sport Horse UK and competes at British Showjumping and has represented Pony Club and Riding Club at National Championships.
Facilities at Pitforthie Equestrian
We have stabling with strong doors and partitions, outdoor paddocks with electric fencing. We have a hot horse shower facility and kitchen with kettle and microwave.
The sand, fibre and rubber outdoor school has been recently re-laid and is in excellent condition. Lighting is available in the school for darker evenings.
Hay/haylage, wood chip bedding and basic hard feed
all included in stabled prices.
Rubber matting in all stables which have full height hay racks.
Parking for horse boxes and lorries.
Indoor tie up area for grass liveries.
Evening checks with hay and water topped up if required.
Spacious tack rooms.
Canter tracks.
